The club is here for the benefit of all its members and is heavily reliant on volunteers for coaching, team management, referees, committees and maintenance. The more we have the better for everyone; more improvements can be made to both the club and grounds, better facilities could be provided, more social/fund raising events for members and the local community can be held.
Last season has shown us that we can and have overcome the hardship of the last few years and the club is now on a more solid footing and that is down to all of you who have supported it, but there is still more that can be done. Whether you can offer just a few hours for major events or more of your time regularly it would be greatly appreciated.
The current vacancies are:
Social Secretary - which would require leading/organising some social events that are held regularly at the club or an external venue. Attending/reporting to Committee with updates on events.
Kit Man/Woman - required to attend 1XV games both home and away. Duties to include preparing kit and equipment prior to a match ie. fill water bottles, put up post pads and flags. Post match collection of dirty kit, cleaning water bottles, storing post pads.
Both committees look forward to welcoming you all back in September to renew your membership, the fees will be unchanged so there'll be no need to amend your standing order just keep in active.
