A huge welcome to Scarlett, our fantastic new Club Physiotherapist ready to support players across all twenty plus teams this season! Fresh from Sheffield Hallam University and with elite rugby experience, she is already hard at work keeping our club moving. A Quote from Scarlett"I'm really excited to have recently joined Dinnington Rugby Club as the Club Physiotherapist, having just graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Physiotherapy. I'm looking forward to becoming part of the club and supporting members and players across the season, whether that's helping with rehabilitation following injury, managing ongoing niggles or providing pitch-side support on matchdays. At the moment, I'm working with a range of different injuries and rehabilitation programmes, including rehab and recovery following an ankle fracture, ankle impingement and a number of ongoing musculoskeletal injuries. Every player and injury is different, so I'm aiming to provide individualised support to help players return to training and competition safely and confidently. Alongside my physiotherapy degree, I have experience in sports physiotherapy, including working with elite women's rugby, and I also hold a qualification in Sports Massage. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone at Dinnington and being part of the club this season. If you see me around the club, please come and say hello!" |
