Our Chairman Mr Craig West has accepted the position of assistant coach at Sheffield RUFC and as a consequence has resigned from his current role with immediate effect.

Mr Stephen Hawley our current vice chairman has agreed to stand in as interim Chairman until the AGM, at which time he will formally apply for the position.

Craig West took over the role of Chairman at a very difficult time in our history - our finances were dire, covid was upon us and there was no clear direction or leadership within the club.

Over the last 3 1/2 years with his overwhelming enthusiasm, intensity and vision, he has been the main driving force in completely rejuvenating the club. In fact at this years South Yorkshire Volunteers Evening held at Doncaster, he received the 'Best Chairman in the County Award' as voted by the County Board.

During his tenure he was able to bring on board several new committee members and trustees who in working together on your behalf, have ensured our club has gone from strength to strength and can now be described as thriving. 

We would like to wish Craig every success and happiness in his new role and thank him for everything he has done, its been a privilege working along side him.
